Shipping from Port Douglas, Australia

All SEA Gallery artwork are carefully packed and shipped from our studio in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland. Whether it’s an original painting, a limited edition print, or a locally made homeware item, we take every step to ensure it reaches you safely.

All our fine art giclée prints are created to order. To ensure every print is perfect, this process takes time. We would much rather not rush packing your artwork — we prioritise its safety. Printing, packaging & handling times as follows:

  • Unframed prints are usually ready within 1–3 business days.

  • We keep Australian Oak frames in stock and typically have your framed artwork ready within 3-5 days.

  • Framed canvas prints are custom made to order by our trusted partners at Tropical North Framing Gallery in Cairns. This process takes at least a week and during busy periods, please allow at least 2 weeks.

We ship all unframed prints via the most suitable shipping partner we can use based on your location.

Framed artwork is sent via courier, either delivered personally to Cairns or collected from us here in at SEA Gallery, Port Douglas.

Packaging & Care

  • Rolled prints: securely packed in strong tubes.

  • Framed or canvas prints: carefully wrapped and couriered to prevent damage.

  • Giftware: padded and boxed for protection during transit.

Please note:

Our gallery is located in Port Douglas, Far North Queensland, so shipping can take a little longer here than in other regions.

  • Freight within Queensland: usually around 1 week.

  • Interstate orders: typically 2–3 weeks, depending on destination.

  • International orders: can take anywhere from 2 weeks up to 2 months.

We are a gallery, not a freight company, but we do everything possible to ensure your artwork is printed perfectly and packaged securely for safe delivery.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on all orders over $200 AUD within Australia.

Shipping Costs

Orders under $200 will be charged a flat rate of $20 AUD.

Shipping on international orders is calculated based on weight and size of your tube at the checkout.

We do not ship framed artwork overseas, all original artwork at SEA gallery is available unframed and all fine art prints are available unframed.

Our shipping costs are included in the cost for all framed artwork. We do this to ensure there's no surprises at the checked. However, on rare occasions, there may be slight variances.

  • If shipping costs turn out to be higher than paid, we will usually cover the difference.

  • In cases of significant difference, we reserve the right to contact you to arrange payment of the outstanding amount.
