Framing
What frame do you offer?
Solid American oak, FSC certified — no other timber or colour options. We chose to commit to the one timber rather than offer a range: American oak is the most consistent stock we can source, with the best finish and least waste, which lines up with how we approach the rest of the gallery.
Do you offer framing on paper prints?
Yes — behind glass, in oak, for A4–A2. A1 is framed behind Perspex instead of glass, given the larger size.
Do you offer framing on canvas prints?
Yes — stretched and framed in oak, float/shadow-box style with an approx. 5mm gap around the artwork.
How much does framing add to the size?
About 3cm total to each dimension — e.g. a 100cm length finishes at approximately 103cm once framed. That's made up of 1cm of oak frame plus a 0.5cm gap on each side.
Can I get a print framed in a colour other than oak?
You certainly can — we just don't offer it directly from our workshop, since oak is the only timber we frame in-house. If you'd like a different finish, buy the piece unframed and take it to your local framer to be framed exactly how you like.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Free within Australia on orders over $200. Orders under $200 ship for a flat $20.
How long will my order take?
All orders — rolled or framed — are printed to order and typically ready and delivered within 7–10 days. Framed canvas pieces go through our national framing network, so timing can vary with your location and the framer's current workload — contact us for a current estimate before ordering if you need it by a specific date.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — rolled, unframed prints ship worldwide. Framed pieces are Australia-only (see below).
Do you ship framed pieces overseas?
No — framed artwork is domestic (Australia) only.
What courier do you use?
For rolled prints, we ship via Australia Post or Aramex. For framed pieces, we use Aramex, TNT or DHL. In both cases, we choose the courier at the time of dispatch based on availability and the fastest route to you.
Can I track my order?
Yes — you'll receive a tracking link once your order ships.
Can I pick up in-store?
Yes — visit us at Shop 2, 24 Macrossan Street, Port Douglas, and let our team know your name and order number.
Do you deliver to a PO Box?
Yes, for unframed artworks up to 70x100cm — Australia Post won't accept anything larger than that to a PO Box.
Prints & Editions
Are your prints limited edition?
Yes — every print is a strictly limited edition of 100, hand-signed and numbered. Once an edition of 100 sells out, that print is gone for good, so popular pieces do move quickly.
Do prints come with a certificate of authenticity?
No — prints aren't issued with a separate certificate.
Can I get a custom size?
Yes — since we print everything ourselves, custom sizes can absolutely be requested. Get in touch and we'll let you know if it's a good fit for the artwork.
What's the difference between David's and Steph's prints?
David's prints are aerial and wildlife photography, shot around Port Douglas and the reef. Steph's are reproductions of her original paintings. Different subjects, different mediums to start with — but every print, from either artist, is produced in-house at SEA Gallery on the same paper and canvas.
Pricing & Promotions
Is "Buy 3 Prints, get your 4th free" a current offer?
Yes — this is a live, ongoing offer.
Do you offer Afterpay or payment plans?
Yes — Afterpay is available at checkout. For originals and large framed pieces, we also offer a payment plan: 50% deposit up front, with the balance due before dispatch.
Do you offer trade/wholesale pricing?
Yes — get in touch and we'll talk through it.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes — SEA Gallery Gift Cards are available.
Returns & Damage
What's your returns policy?
For Australian customers, we don't offer change-of-mind returns — if you receive a faulty, damaged, incorrect, or missing item, contact us and we'll make it right. EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Full policy: seagallery.com.au/policies/refund-policy
My order arrived damaged — what do I do?
Contact us as soon as possible at hello@seagallery.com.au with a few photos of the damage, and we'll sort it out promptly.
Care
How do I look after my canvas print?
Dust gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid water, damp cloths, or cleaning products. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from high-humidity areas (bathrooms, kitchens).
How do I look after my paper print?
Keep framed behind glass — the paper itself is fragile and marks easily until framed. Avoid direct sunlight.
How should I store a rolled print before framing?
Keep it in the tube it arrived in, upright, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Originals
Does Stephanie Elizabeth take commissions?
Commissions are closed for 2026.
Are originals framed?
Every original is available either framed or unframed — your choice.
Can I visit the gallery to see originals in person?
Yes — Shop 2, 24 Macrossan Street, Port Douglas. We're open 9am–4pm Monday to Friday, and 9am–1pm on weekends. During the low (wet) season, we run 9am–1pm across the board.
